NAUMANN & RÖSKE

Woodwind player Jörg Naumann and percussionist Falk Röske look back on a quarter-century of musical collaboration in various bands (including l'arc six, Free Elements) – and as the Duo Naumann-Roeske.

 

In this constellation, the boundaries of styles and genres are irrelevant: elements of jazz, world music, classical music and imaginary folk music form a new, sonorous whole. The variety of classical and exotic instruments used (saxophones, flutes, various drums, hang, small percussion, harmonium) and the musicians' joy of improvisation, driven by playful curiosity, turn each concert into an exciting journey through their own, colorful musical cosmos.
